Shopping for Christmas on a budget? Interested in saving as much as you can?
One of the most convenient ways to save money on your online purchases is to use cashback sites. These sites give you a percentage of your money back in Gift cards to various stores, check via mail, or Paypal cash, depending on the site. There are many sites with cashback programs, including:
–Ebates.com ($10 sign-up bonus)
–Swagbucks.com ($3-$13 sign up bonus)
You can save about $20 just by signing up to Ebates and Swagbucks alone through my referral links (look below) and shopping through their partner links. Even after redeeming your sign-up bonus, you can continue to earn cashback by shopping through their links.
If you use Ebates.com, you will get $10 back if you make a purchase of $25 or more through their site’s partner link within a year of signing up. This may only be credited if you use a referral link. You can use mine: https://www.ebates.com/r/RASCAL810?eeid=28187 .
You will earn a percentage of your money back when shopping through their partner links even after you receive your $10 bonus. The exact percentage usually ranges between 1-10%, depending on the product and the store. Ebates is also the only site listed that, as far as I know, allows you to earn money back for in-store purchases by linking your debit or credit card. Unfortunately, however, you may have to wait some time to get your money, as they only pay every trimester. They also send money via check.
Swagbucks has something similar. I was able to get a $10 cash-back offer back from them, but I am not sure if they award this much to all new members. You can get at least $3 by earning 300 Swagbucks (1 Swagbuck = 1 cent) before the end of the month you signed up. Again, this only applies to those who join using a referral link. Here is mine: http://www.swagbucks.com/p/register?rb=47995810 .
Their percentage rates are similar to Ebates.com, giving about 1-10% cash back depending on the store and product. They do not give money back for in-store purchases.
Instagc.com tends to have lower rates, and is quite restrictive regarding paypal cash. However, they have very low payouts for gift cards. They give a 10 point sign up bonus, which is the equivalent of 10 cents. You need 100 points to cash out for a $1 gift card.
Quickrewards.net is similar, but has an even lower cashout rate. You can cash out to Paypal or gift card even if you have $0.01 cent in your account! I was able to do so personally.
MrRebates.com is the one site I have no experience with. I hear they have pretty reasonable rates and a $7.50 bonus if done through a referral. I do not have a referral link, so I recommend searching online for one to get your bonus.
Cashback sites can be a great way to save money when shopping online (or even offline, in the case of Ebates). If you liked my post, please follow my blog! Also comment below if you know of any other cashback sites I should include.
